Scaling a Plugin

Scale refers to an increase or decrease in the number of plugins manually. You have an option to scale it from the Kubernetes management console.

To increase/decrease the number of plugins of a specific type:

Log in into the kubernetes management console.
From the top list, select the required namespace or datacenter.
From the left pane, click Deployments.
Search for the specific deployment/plugin that needs to be scaled.
Against the name of the pod, click the three dots and select Scale.
The Scale a Resource page is displayed.
Update the value of the Desired replicas parameter to increase or decrease the number of pods for a plugin.
Click Scale.
