Delete F5 LTM VIP with Service Now

This workflow deletes VIP along with its associated objects(Pool, Monitor, IRule, Profiles, Persistence, Snatpool, Policy) and multi-select the associated object types to consider for deletion.

To run this workflow:
  1. Go to Menu > ADC+ > AUTOMATION > Workflow Catalog > View/Run
  2. Click the F5 BIG-IP LTM category on the View/Run Workflows page.
  3. On the popup window, hover the mouse over the Delete F5 LTM VIP with Service Now workflow.
    The Run and Schedule buttons are displayed.
  4. Click .
    The Request > Delete F5 LTM VIP with Service Now :: FormBuilder page is displayed.
  5. Select the Datacenter, the Device Name, and the Virtual Server from the dropdown list.
    The services associated with the selected device are displayed.
  6. Select all the services of the device or select/clear only the services of the devices that are to be deleted.
  7. Select the DNS Details and Change Management details of the device, if DNS details and change management details of the device are required to be deleted.
  8. Click Submit.
    The Confirmation dialog box is displayed.
  9. To save this form so you can edit it later, click Save Draft and then click OK.
    The form will be saved as Open request under Request > My Request.

    OR

    To submit the form, click OK.

    The validation starts automatically and reaches the Disable Review stage.
    Note:
    • If there is any failure at this stage, start a new request by providing the correct data.
    • Alternatively, select the failed request and clone it. Update the correct input data in the form input, and submit the workflow again.
  10. Review the input data under the implementation, rollback, and postvalidation tabs.
  11. (Optional) If you need to change any data at this stage, right click and select the required option.
  12. After the review, click Submit.
    The Confirmation dialog box is displayed.
    Note: To stop running the workflow creation, Click Cancel.
  13. Click Ok to continue workflow creation.
    It takes a while to complete the request.
    The workflow is created and the email is triggered to the configured email IDs.
    Note: The stages of the request are shown in the left side of the screen. To view a particular stage of the request, click the respective stage.
