n8n

Agent Identity Security connects to n8n using the base URL and credentials of an Owner or Admin account. Member-level accounts do not have sufficient permissions for integration.

Before You Begin

  1. Ensure your n8n instance is running and accessible at a known URL (for example, https://n8n.example.com).
  2. Identify or create an n8n account with Owner or Admin role. Member-level accounts do not have sufficient permissions.
  3. Note the email address and password (or API key if n8n uses API key authentication) for the integration account.
  1. On the Integrations page, click Add Integration.
  2. In the Integration Catalog, click n8n.
The n8n configuration screen is displayed.
  3. Under Instance Details, enter the following:
    FieldDescription
*Instance NameUnique name for this integration instance. Example: Production n8n.
DescriptionOptional description to identify the purpose or environment covered.
  4. Under Credentials, enter the following:
    FieldDescription
*n8n Base URLThe base URL of your n8n instance. Example: https://n8n.example.com.
*EmailThe email address used to log in to your n8n instance, or the LDAP login ID if LDAP is configured.
*PasswordThe password for the n8n account.

    *: Mandatory fields

  5. Click Test Configuration.
Agent Identity Security validates the credentials against your n8n instance. A checkmark indicates success.
  6. Click Create Instance.
The integration instance is created, an initial workflow synchronization is performed, and the browser redirects to the Integrations list.
Agent Identity Security discovers n8n agent workflows and executions. Navigate to Registry > Agents to view them.
