Self-Hosted Application Deployment Guide
The Agent Identity Security self-hosted application is a hardened, single Docker image designed for efficient deployment on any host that meets the minimum specifications.
Overview
This guide provides the technical instructions that enterprise customers need to deploy and configure the Agent Identity Security self-hosted application. The application is distributed as a hardened, single Docker image designed for efficient deployment on any host that meets the minimum specifications.
Deployment architecture
The Agent Identity Security self-hosted application operates within a single Docker
container, encapsulating three core services.
| Service | Description | Container port | Expose for external use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Backend | Python FastAPI (API layer) | 8000 | Yes (configurable) |
| Frontend | Web user interface (UI) | 3002 | Yes (configurable) |
| PostgreSQL | Transactional database | 5432 | No (optional) |
Note: The PostgreSQL database is configured as
internal-only to the container for enhanced security, restricting direct external
access.
System prerequisites
Your host machine or virtual machine (VM) must meet the following minimum resource
requirements. A Linux-based operating system is the preferred environment for production
deployment.
| Resource | Minimum requirement |
|---|---|
| vCPUs | 2 |
| Memory | 8 GB |
| Storage | 60 GB |
| Operating system | Linux, macOS, or Windows with Docker support (Linux-based OS is preferred) |
