Customizing the Login Screen

To customize the login screen:
  1. On the Settings :: Theme page, to customize the login screen, click the Login tab, enter the Login credential entry pane and Banner image section details:

    Field Description
    Background color To set a background color for the login screen:
    1. Enter the hex code of the required background color.

      OR

    2. To select a color, click .
    Font color To set a font color for the text on the login screen:
    1. Enter the hex code of the required font color.

      OR

    2. To select a color, click .

    Field Description
    Enable banner image in login screen To display a banner image on the login screen, turn on this toggle. If turned off the login page banner section is blank.
    Banner Option Choose any of the following:
    • Default - a default AppViewX banner is displayed on the login page.
    • Custom - It displays the radio button field Banner Type (described below).
    Banner Type Choose any of the following.
    • Image - Allows to upload an image from the Upload image field. The image is displayed in the login page on the left.
    • URL - Allows to enter the internal/external URL. The contents of the URL defined will be displayed on the left of the login page.
    *Upload image This field is enabled only when the Banner Option = Custom. To upload a banner image:
    1. Click .
    2. From Windows Explorer, navigate to the location of the image, select the image, and click Open.
      Note:
      • Image formats allowed for upload: .jpg, .jpeg, and .png
      • Recommended image resolution: 1200px width and 1200px.
      • Image size: < 5 MB
      • Image file name can contain letters, numbers, spaces, and special characters (), _, and -.
    3. In the Confirmation Message dialog box, click Yes.
    *URL Enter a secure HTTPS URL with CORS enabled to display custom content on the login page.
  2. In the Preview section, view a preview of your customization for the login screen.
  3. To apply the changes, click Save.
