Onboarding Group
The Onboarding Group Management feature allows administrators to create, edit, delete, and organize groups that classify devices based on rules such as IP range, hostname, vendor, and so on using logical operators AND/OR. Each group includes a unique name, description, rule set, and an optional onboarding policy. Groups are evaluated in sequence, and the first match determines a device’s membership.
The system provides a default onboarding group by default. Any devices that do not match existing group rules are automatically assigned to this group. Administrators can modify its description or associate an onboarding policy as required.
