Send Notifications

Compose and send a notification to one or more Agent Identity Security users directly from the platform.

You can push messages to selected users through Agent Identity Security. Use it to communicate security alerts, policy changes, maintenance windows, or other operational updates to specific users without leaving the platform.

Each notification requires a title. The message body is optional but recommended for context. Notifications are delivered to the recipient's Agent Identity Security notification panel.

Before you begin:

Your role must include permission to send notifications.
Know which users need to receive the message. You must select at least one recipient before you can send.
Decide the category and format before you start. You cannot change these after sending.

Click Send Notification on the Manage Notifications page to open the Send Notification form.
The form is organized into three sections:


Section	Field	Description
Recipients	Users *	Multi-select drop-down for choosing the Agent Identity Security user accounts that will receive the notification. At least one recipient must be selected before the notification can be sent.
Notification Type	Category *	The event category for this notification. Default value: System. The category determines how the notification is classified in the notifications grid.
Notification Type	Content Type	The format of the notification content. Default value: Text.
Content	Title *	A brief subject line that summarizes the notification. This text appears as the bold heading in the notifications grid.
Content	Message	An optional message body with additional details. This text appears as the secondary line beneath the title in the notifications grid.

Click Send Notification to dispatch the notification to all selected recipients. The button is disabled until at least one recipient and a title are provided. Click Cancel to discard the form and return to the notifications list.
