Uninstall AIS Shadow AI Agent Detection

Remove the AIS Shadow AI Agent Detection from endpoints either through Microsoft Intune or by running the uninstall script manually.
  1. Via Microsoft Intune remove the target group from the Required assignment and add it to the Uninstall assignment.

    In Microsoft Intune, remove the target Microsoft Entra user or device group from the Required assignment and add the same group under the Uninstall assignment for the Win32 app. Intune then runs the configured uninstall command on devices in that group.

    After confirming successful removal, remove the group from the Uninstall assignment if it is no longer needed.

  2. Manual uninstall run the uninstall script directly on the endpoint. 
    powershell.exe -NoProfile -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File "C:\Program Files\AppViewX\AIS\ais-shadow-ai-agent-detection-uninstall.ps1"

    Uninstalling removes the following:

    • The scheduled task.
    • Installed agent files under C:\Program Files\AppViewX\AIS\.
    • Detection logs.
    • Registry entries under HKLM:\SOFTWARE\AppViewX\AIS.
