Prerequisites

Before using the Auto Remediation Configuration menu

• AppViewX application installation has completed. Auto Remediation is installed by default during that installation.
• Kubernetes namespace auto-remediation exists.
• kubectl can reach the cluster with the admin kubeconfig used by the installer.
• scripts/auto_remediation.conf exists (copied from the template during install if needed).
• For SMTP alerts: SMTP is configured in the AppViewX web application (Settings → General → SMTP), unless complete manual monitoring SMTP is already stored.
• For Apply Configuration to Node Manager: SSH access to worker nodes as defined in appviewx.conf, and sudo where the Node Manager host service is installed.
