Start with Your Onboarding Journey
The customer onboarding process involves a trial subscription, initial network integration, and discovery of both public and private CA certificates for centralized management. Automated workflows address issues such as expiring certificates and compliance, enhancing security and visibility while reducing manual effort.
The Onboard Discovery feature in AppViewX automates the management of digital certificates by scanning the network to detect and import SSL/TLS certificates from devices such as servers and load balancers into the AppViewX Trust Protection Platform. This centralizes certificate management and eliminates manual intervention. The platform continuously monitors certificates for status changes, expiration dates, and compliance, automating renewals and deployment to prevent downtime.
For certificate onboarding, freemium/new customers and existing customers will follow different processes.
- Freemium/New Customers: Directed to the CERT+ > Insights > Summary page, where a pop-up window appears outlining the onboarding journey.
- Existing Customers: Directed to the CERT+ > Insights > Summary page. Here, a Quick Discovery button appears, which redirects them to the onboarding journey.
The INSIGHTS menu provides comprehensive information and analytics regarding the overall certificates summary, operations, Risk & Crypto, and Google 90-Day delivered through the CERT+ infrastructure. The INSIGHTS menu populates with relevant data, once the certificates have been successfully onboarded and discovered. For more details about Insights, refer to Insights section.
