Creating Custom Plans
- Custom plans can be created only for licensed versions and not for free trials.
- If yours is a pool-based license, the MSP's license will be validated for the product limits before a custom plan is created.
To create a custom plan:

Go to
(Menu) > MSP
Portal > MSP Management >
Plans.
The Plan Management inventory is displayed. -
From the Plan Management inventory, click Add
Plan.
The Add Plan page is displayed.

Enter/Select the custom plan details.

Plans are, therefore, created in accordance with the source of onboarding. - If this new plan has been created by AppViewX’s PM team, from the dropdown list, select Internal.
*Product Type From the following options, select the product type for which this new plan will be applicable: - ADC+
- DDI+
- CERT+
- SIGN+
- KUBE+
- PKI+
- SSH+
*Plan Category - For ADC+, plans belong to the following
categories:
- ADC nodes
- For CERT+, plans belong to the following
categories:
- Server certificate
- Device certificate
- Managed
- For PKI+, plans belong to the following
categories:
- Certificate authority
- Issuance certificate
- For DDI+, plans belong to the following
categories:
- DDI Objects
- For KUBE+, plans belong to the following
categories:
- Kube Cluster
- Kube Node
- For SIGN+, plans belong to the following
categories:
- Signatures
- For SSH+, plans belong to the following
categories:
- SSH Host
- SSH Key
*Number of Managed Devices This field is displayed only Product Type = ADC+ Enter the number of devices that will be managed by this plan.
*Number of Managed Certificates This field is displayed only Product Type = CERT+.and Plan Category = Managed. Enter the number of device/server certificates that will be managed by this plan.
*Number of Server Certificates This field is displayed only Product Type = CERT+.and Plan Category = Server. Enter the number of server certificates that will be managed by this plan.
*Number of Device Certificates This field is displayed only Product Type = CERT+.and Plan Category = Device. Enter the number of device certificates that will be managed by this plan.
*Number of Issuance Certificates This field is displayed only Product Type = PKI+ and Plan Category = Issuance Certificate. Enter the number of issuance certificates that will be managed by this plan.
*Number of CA This field is displayed only Product Type = PKI and Plan Category = Certificate Authority. Enter the number of certificate authorities that will be managed by this plan.
*Number of DDI Objects This field is displayed only Product Type = DDI+ Enter the number of DDI objects that will be managed by this plan.
*Number of Managed Clusters This field is displayed only Product Type = KUBE+ and Plan Category = Kube Clusters. Enter the number of Kube clusters that will be managed by this plan.
*Number of Managed Nodes This field is displayed only Product Type = KUBE+ and Plan Category = Kube Nodes. Enter the number of Kube clusters that will be managed by this plan.
*Number of Managed Signatures This field is displayed only Product Type = SIGN+. Enter the number of signatures that will be managed by this plan.
*Number of Managed SSH Hosts This field is displayed only Product Type = SSH+ and Plan Category = SSH Hosts. Enter the number of SSH hosts that will be managed by this plan.
*Number of Managed SSH Keys This field is displayed only Product Type = SSH+ and Plan Category = SSH Keys. Enter the number of SSH keys that will be managed by this plan.
*Plan Name By default, based on the above selections, a plan name is auto-populated in this field, in adherence to AppViewX’s recommended naming convention (which is used for the predefined plans). If required, you can edit the plan name.
*Plan Description Enter any additional details related to the plan. -
Click Create.
The new plan is listed in the Plan Management inventory.Note: If a plan has to be modified, the recommended course of action is to delete that plan and create a new one.
