Adding A10 Device

Prerequisites
  • Ensure bidirectional communication between the Cloud Connector (CC) machine or AppViewX node and the A10 device. The A10 device must be permitted to initiate SSH and SCP connections to the CC machine over port 22, in addition to allowing outbound connections from the CC machine to the A10 device.
  • For SaaS deployments, verify that the Cloud Connector machine has a resolvable hostname. The hostname returned by the hostname -f command must resolve to the machine’s IP address when queried using:
    dig +short <hostname>
This resolution is required for successful SCP operations during discovery, backup, and push activities.
  • For certificate management and device backup on A10 devices, navigate to the Authentication Settings and configure the Node Password to match the password of the node where the AppViewX Cloud Connector instance is deployed.
