Actions on Recently Rotated Keys

All the keys that are rotated from the user key and host inventories are available in Recently Rotated Keys. You can access this functionality only if you have the ACF permissions enabled for your role.

  1. Go to (Menu) icon > SSH > Inventory > Key Inventory.
  2. Select Recently Rotated Keys.

The Recently Rotated Keys page is displayed User Key and Host Key tabbed inventory.

  3. Perform any of the following actions for User Key and Host Key tabbed inventory:
    • View rotated keys: The rotated user or host keys from endpoints are made available in the User Keys or Host Keys. The inventory lists key details including key name, associated users, client and host endpoints, fingerprint, who rotated the key, and the date when rotated.
    • Rollback rotated keys: To rollback keys that were rotated by mistake, simply select them and select Rollback from the Actions menu. A message appears, Are you sure you want to rollback to the previous key? This action will revert the selected key(s) to their former state. Please confirm to proceed. Click Yes to proceed.
    • Exporting the keys: Use the Export option in the Action dropdown list to export all keys displayed in the User Key and Host Key inventory to CSV or XLSX format. The Export popup provides the following options:
      • All columns - Export all columns, including both selected and unselected columns.
      • Displayed columns - Export only the columns that are currently selected or displayed.
      • Formats - Select either CSV or XLSX as the download format.
Note: An info icon appears beside the rotated key. Clicking the info icon takes you to the user/host key inventory where you can see the active key in the device. On performing rollback, that key is pushed and the active key is removed.
  4. Click the Columns icon next to the Action dropdown to add or remove custom columns in the key inventory.
The Columns pop-up displays all available columns that you can show in the inventory. Perform the following actions:
    • Select the checkboxes to display specific columns in the inventory.
    • Use the Select All checkbox to display all columns.
    • Drag and drop column names to arrange them in the desired order.
    • Click Reset to Previous Column Selection to restore the previous column order and selections.
