Viewing Dependent Requests

Organize and visualize parent workflows with their associated sub-workflows for improved operational management and workflow hierarchy visibility.

Overview

The Workflow Request Grouping Enhancement provides better visibility and organization of workflow hierarchies in AppViewX. As workflow volume increases in complex automation scenarios, locating and correlating related workflows becomes challenging. This enhancement enables users to intuitively search, categorize, and navigate parent workflows along with their associated sub-workflows.

When a parent workflow triggers multiple sub-workflows, all related requests can now be viewed and managed together, reducing operational complexity and improving workflow tracking.

Accessing Grouped Workflow Requests

  1. Go to Menu > Automation > Service Requests.
  2. Select the All menu to view the Workflow Request Inventory page
  3. The inventory displays all workflow requests, including parent requests and their associated child workflows
  4. Child workflows are visually grouped under their parent request, showing the complete hierarchy

Viewing Workflow Hierarchy
