Delete LTM Application Services

By running this workflow, you can delete a virtual server along with pool.

To run this workflow:

  1. Go to Menu > ADC+ > AUTOMATION > Workflow Catalog > View/Run
  2. Click the F5 BIG-IP AS3 category on the View/Run Workflows page.
  3. On the popup window, hover the mouse over the Delete LTM Application Services workflow.
    The Run and Schedule buttons are displayed.
  4. Click .
    The Request > Delete LTM Application Services :: FormBuilder page is displayed.
  5. In the General Properties section, select the Device Name, and then choose the Partition and Application details of the device that are to be deleted.
  6. Fetch the following details:
    • Wide IP by clicking the Get Wide IPs button, and then select a Wide IP from the dropdown list.

    • Pool by clicking the Get Pool button, and then select an associated pool from the dropdown list.

      Click Yes to delete the associated pool otherwise select No.

  7. Click Submit.
    The Confirmation dialog box is displayed.
  8. To save this form so you can edit it later, click Save Draft and then click OK.
    The form will be saved as Open request under Request > My Request.

    OR

    To submit the form, click OK.

    The validation starts automatically and reaches the Review stage, after which the workflow is created.
    Note:
    • If there is any failure at this stage, start a new request by providing the correct data.
    • Alternatively, select the failed request and clone it. Update the correct input data in the form input, and submit the workflow again.
    Note: The stages of the request are shown in the left side of the screen. To view a particular stage of the request, click the respective stage.
  9. Click Ok to submit the form.
    The validation starts automatically after which the workflow is created and the Wide IP along with its pool are deleted.
    Note:
    • If there is any failure at this stage, start a new request by providing the correct data.
    • Alternatively, select the failed request and clone it. Update the correct input data in the form input, and submit the workflow again.
