Show Only Unmapped Clusters During Endpoint Mapping
Use this procedure to map endpoints to eligible clusters and avoid duplicate cluster mappings by selecting only unmapped clusters.
- At least one cluster policy is already created.
- You have permissions to edit policy endpoint mappings.
-
Go to menu > KUBE >
GROUPS & POLICIES >
Cluster Policy.
The Cluster Policy inventory page is displayed.
-
For the required cluster policy, open Manage and Deploy
and click the Add Endpoints action.
The Add Endpoints dialog box is displayed.
-
In cluster selection fields, verify that only clusters that are not already
mapped for the selected endpoint are listed.
The dialog excludes clusters that are already mapped for that endpoint.
-
Select an eligible unmapped cluster and complete endpoint mapping details,
then save the mapping.
The endpoint is mapped to the selected cluster without duplicate association.
-
Reopen Add Endpoints for the same policy and endpoint to
validate the filtering behavior.
The newly mapped cluster no longer appears in the selectable list for that endpoint.
Endpoint mapping displays only eligible unmapped clusters, reducing manual effort and preventing duplicate mappings.
