Monitor Cluster Health with State-Based Evaluation

Use this procedure to validate cluster health using state-based monitoring and to verify that certificate operations use current cluster health status.

  • At least one cluster is onboarded in KUBE Cluster Inventory.
  • You have permissions to view cluster status and trigger certificate operations.
  1. Go to Menu > KUBE > INVENTORY > Cluster Inventory.
The Cluster Inventory page is displayed.
  2. Review the Status and Last Updated Time columns for all listed clusters.
The latest health state of each cluster is visible from inventory.
  3. Click the refresh icon and observe that unhealthy clusters continue to appear as unhealthy until their state changes.
Health evaluation is based on current cluster state, not only recent delta changes.
  4. Before certificate enrollment, discovery, or push operations, verify that the target cluster status is healthy.
Certificate orchestration can use the current cluster health state for operation decisions.
  5. If a cluster remains unhealthy, resolve cluster issues and recheck status after the next monitoring cycle.
Operations are resumed only after cluster health state is restored.

Cluster health is continuously evaluated in a state-based manner and certificate orchestration relies on up-to-date health information.
