View Source Connection

The View Source Connection feature allows administrators and application owners to monitor active connections and track end-to-end traffic flow across ADC objects (such as Avi Virtual Services and F5 Virtual Servers).

To view the active source connections for an ADC device object:

Go to Menu > ADC > TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT > App Search..
The Control Center search screen appears.
Run a search for the desired application or ADC device object.
By default, results are displayed in the Application View page.
Access the source connection details:
- From Application View: Right-click the Avi Virtual Service or device object and select View > View source connection from the context menu.
- From Infrastructure View: Click the Infrastructure view icon to switch views, select the checkbox next to the target object, and navigate to Actions > View > View source connection.
The View Source Connections page appears, displaying the active connection records.

The connection table maps the client's source IP and port to the ADC Virtual Service VIP, alongside the corresponding backend connection from the ADC's SNAT IP to the destination server pool member.
