Netscaler to F5 BIG-IP

This workflow is designed to migrate load balancer (LB) configurations from Citrix NetScaler to F5 BIG-IP.

To run this workflow:

  1. Go to Menu > ADC+ > AUTOMATION > Workflow Catalog > View/Run
  2. Click the Miration category on the View/Run Workflows page.
  3. On the popup window, hover the mouse over the Netscaler to F5 BIG-IP workflow.
    The Run and Schedule buttons are displayed.
  4. Click .
    The Request > Netscaler to F5 BIG-IP :: FormBuilder page is displayed.
  5. Enter/select the Select Source Device - Citrix NetScaler field information.

    *Select NetScaler Device Retrieve and select a NetScaler device.
    *Select Partition Retrieve and select a partition.
    *Select Application Retrieve and select an application.
    Select GSLB Applications Retrieve and select a GSLB application.

  6. Enter/select the Select Destination Device - F5 BIG-IP.

    Field Description
    Fetch Active F5 Devices Managed in AppViewX Click this button to select the target F5 device for migration.
    *Select Target F5 Device Select a targeted F5 device.
    Do you want to select partition in the F5 Device? By default, No option is selected. To select a partition in the F5 device, click Yes option, and then select a parition.
  7. On the F5 Config Option section, select a config push method.
  8. On the Pre-validation section, click the Validate button.
    The Prevalidation Info are fetched.
  9. Once the validation is successful, click Submit.
    The Confirmation dialog box is displayed.
  10. (Optional) To save this form so you can edit it later, click Save Draft and then click OK.
    The form will be saved as Open request under Request > My Request.
  11. Click Ok to complete the workflow creation.
    It takes a while to complete the request.
    Note: The stages of the request are shown in the left-side of the screen. To view a particular stage of the request, click the respective stage.
